Today's file opens in a sloppy, two-room apartment in New York's east side, where Nora is listening to records on the phonograph. The doorbell rings and her brother, Harry, enters. He's brought up her post, and in there is a record from her husband, who says he's coming home soon from Germany to be with her and the baby. However, there isn't a baby anymore, because Nora sold him to a woman in the park for $1000!
