There's an old saying "Dead men tell no tales", but nothing could be further from the truth...

If you're not familiar with it, the television show Unsolved Mysteries uses re-enactments and interviews to retell the circumstances of mysteries that are unsolved. The series covers crimes, tales of lost love, unexplained history and paranormal events, and viewers are encouraged to provide information that might solve the mystery.

But before the television version, there of course, was the radio version in 1936, starring Stanley Peyton! (pictured above) 

In the radio series, there are little known mysteries of the entire world, unexplained true happenings, the puzzling and weird practices found in voodooism, strange stories of zombies, ghost ships and serial killers. As far as thrillers go, it's fabulously creepy, edge-of-your-seat stuff!

I've begun adding them to RUSC today, starting with the story of Lizzie Borden. It is perhaps the most incredible murder case, which resulted in the perpetrator of the double murder being saved from the gallows by a most extraordinary chain of circumstances...
