This is the story of Captain Robert Stobo, who fought alongside General Washington during the French and Indian War. The story begins twenty years before the American Revolution, in a prison in Montreal, Canada in November 1756. Almost two years ago in Virginia, it was Spring, and Captain Robert Stobo was 27 years old and a bachelor, with a house and ten men servants. He even had bagpipes!
