The Unexpected Guest is an hilarious story of love and confusion. There's something special about a vacation in the country, so quiet and so peaceful. At least that was Marjorie Gelard's opinion until she found herself alone in her aunt's house in the woods, alone except for a strange voice that kept calling to her. She's discovered Bill Markham whose plane crashed in the nearby ocean making himself very comfortable. Realising that her aunt and her future husband Edgar will never understand the situation, she calls Mr Wilkins the caretaker to take bill to town but Bill decides to stay. A very panic stricken Marjorie and a very amused Bill watch the arrival of aunt Virginia, Edgar and trouble!
