Ruth Ann Mitchell had the unearthly capacity to see things impossible for ordinary people to see and the ability to foretell events in the future from the shadows they cast before them. Ruth and her granny worked up in the mountains cooking and keeping camp for the lumberjacks when she has a premonition. Involving a man in the camp and acts to prevent a further death.
