As we look in on the little community today, we find Constable Ben Withers in the Pine Ridge Jot 'em Down store and radio station talking to Abner. Lum's still down at the barber's shop with Mose Moots, discussing the impending nuptials between Lum and Widder. Little does Mose and Widder know, the agreement expired at midnight the night before.
