Dan O’Herlihy stars in this radio adaptation of one of the most unusual novels in detective fiction E. C. Bentley’s classic novel Trent’s Last Case, which was first published in England in 1913. Philip Trent is a brilliant painter who dabbles in solving crime mysteries as a special correspondent for the London Record. Trent recounts to his friend his last case, the case of Sigsbee Manderson an American financier who was staying at his English estate when he was murdered. After the case Trent vowed never to dabble in crime detection again.
