The opera house, Paris. The curtain has fallen on the last act and the applause of an appreciative audience is echoing through the old theatre. At the stage entrance, a well dressed young American pushes his way through the crowd of opera goers. He is trying to reach the wings backstage, but the doormen blocks his way.
