Based on the play by the distinguished American playwright Philip Barry and adapted for radio by Peter Lyon, this is the story of a woman torn by three shattering emotions and of how, because she was a strong woman  and a fine one, she refused to let them destroy her. On the contrary she achieved her own happiness and the happiness of those she loved.
