Maggie Monahan is a nurse working on a deadbeat route. She befriends the bus driver, Lloyd who is a man who understands people. While doing her rounds she is told by a young boy that there is a sick man in the hotel but he won’t accept any help or admit to anyone that he is sick. Maggie goes to see him and insists on helping him. Despite the fact that she knows nothing about him and the hotel manager fears he may be a killer Maggie trusts her instinct and finds herself falling in love with him.
