Ron Reynolds and Goofy Mason lurk in the shadows beyond the hustle and bustle of the busy wholesale market waiting for their moment to shoot Johnny Nelson and his man Dum Dum as they go ny the entrance to the alley so that they can take over the vegetable racket. However later that morning they read in the newspaper that Nelson escaped with a flesh wound in a “market shooting that brings racket war in open.”
