A burglar who disguises himself as a window cleaner with a pail of water is chased by the police and escapes by climbing up a tree. The tree branch breaks and he falls sustaining a broken arm. They recover a ladies purse with $490 in it. A receipt for a shoe repair leads them to the owner of the purse but the lady denies that the purse of the money is hers!
