Ben Kaminski had no previous record and no background and was due to get married to Louise Miller. But now he was in trouble with the police for armed robbery on a store and was doing nothing deny it. Louise couldn’t understand why he would do this, it was so out of character. Devoted to Ben she determined to get to the bottom of this and employed Sam Spade.
