Doris Day

Broadcast: January 25, 1948
Added: Jan 07 2022

Win Elliott opens the show, introducing the guest star for the evening's performance, a young lady whose work on radio and in motion pictures, makes her one of the leading singers of the day, and that's her name - Miss Doris Day! Doris Day sings That's My Desire and The Lady From 29 Palms.

But first we hear Harry Sosnik and the Savings Bond Orchestra playing their own arrangement of That Old Black Magic. The orchestra then play out with Harry Sosnik's arrangement of The Golden Wedding.
