Sally Blair came to see Simon Templar because she wanted the picture of her sister, Valerie Marsh that she believed Simon Templar had. It was a picture of her taken on the beach in Miami with Pete Bryan two months ago. Theodore Marsh wealthy husband to Valerie had told his wife that he was going to divorce her and that Simon Templar had a picture of her taken with Pete Bryan. Although Bryan was in love with Valerie, Sally explained to Templar that her sister would not do anything to jeopardize her marriage. All this information was news to Simon Templar who had neither heard of Theodore Marsh nor had the picture.
