Not having their own telephone in the house is causing problems for the whole family. Uncle Baxter arranges by unscrupulous means to get them a telephone in the house. He makes out that Riley is a doctor then when Riley mistakes the installation guy with the bad throat for the plumber the outcome is hilarious.
