It’s a typical mealtime at the Andersons when the conversation turns to Kathy’s spelling test. She didn’t know that Civic didn’t have a K in it and beside she doesn’t even know what a civic is! In his explanation of civic Jim somehow gets on his “soap box” and the conversation leads on to how the city have the right to knock down the city hall to build a highway without even consulting him. Kathy trying to be helpful takes it upon herself to write a letter to the Mayor - but in Jim’s name - oh dear!
