The Goldberg’s car stands in the driveway before the Allison’s house and the fgamily is ready to leave. Inside the house Mr Allison has finally learned the last and final thing that could be known about Sylvia and he understands why Sammy doesn’t want to marry her and Mr Allison is a little afraid of what Sylvia will do when she has nothing left in the world but her regrets. Molly is determined to take Sammy with her and leave as soon as he returns from his last meeting with the girl he loved, the girl he wanted to marry.
