Sweepstakes Murder

Broadcast: 4th October 1949
Added: Apr 23 2009
It was a moonless night in a small southern town near the Mexican border. In a dimly lit evil smelling corner of a rooming house two shadowy men stood before a closed door, the sheriff and his deputy. When they entered they discovered Frenchie dead on the floor. The obvious reason for his death is that the big shots in the sweepstakes racket had found out that he was going to talk to a newspaper reporter so they killed him. Mike Harding of the Counterspies investigates.
