Tomorrow is Phil's birthday and Alice wants to surprise him with something unusual and she has taken her brother William to one of the best Downtown stores to help her shop for a gift. Alice wants to keep it a secret and when Phil asks her where she's been she begins acting strangely. Then when the storeman calls to tell Alice the gift will be arriving, Phil answers it and the storeman hangs up! Phil suspects Alice is having an affair.
