The fight against the narcotics racket, the filthiest of all rackets preying as it does on the weakness, the sickness of so many men and women is never ending. The roots of this racket are greed. Its branches are everywhere in organized crime. The cure is twofold, for the addict it is understanding he is sick that proper medical and psychological care is the answer. For men like Harry Dunken and Scar Grant, the pushers, there is no cure. For such people there can be only the lessons spelled out in prison or in death that crime does not pay.
