Betty and her Grandpa are taking a walk to a little babbling brook nearby, when they arrive they decide to take a little rest, and Grandpa begins to tell her a story... The story is about a little tree, who lived many, many years ago, in a land that's far, far away. The tree sprouted from a little seed and began to grow beneath the soil. Finally, he gave a mighty push and popped out of the ground like a jack-in-a-box. He was so pleased that he was going to grow on top of a hill, where he could see all of the countryside surrounding him...
