Two hard looking thugs are watching a pretty young blonde get in a cab, but they're not too happy. After a heated argument she takes the cab and the two hard men follow secretly behind to find out where she is going. The blonde stops at a paper stall and has a mysterious discussion with the elderly paper seller, a woman called Glenda who then makes her way to the offices of Richard Diamond with the young woman's purse and asks him to get it back to its rightful owner. Shortly after hardman turn up at Diamonds office interested in the purse. Now Richard Diamond knew he had gotten himself in to something that didn't smell right.
