People have been phoning Jack Benny about a contest all week where he is giving away $10,000! Jack Benny is surprised too, imagine him giving away all that money. The contest is Jack's press agent Steve Bradley's idea and he's coming over to tell them what the contest is about. His idea is for folks to write in letters of twenty five words or less completing the sentence, "I cant stand Jack Benny because..." Jack is upset because he knows thirty million people listen to his program, but Steve explains that means a hundred million people don't. Jack can't go through with a thing like this, how can they do this to him and Fred Allen is to be the judge of the most convincing letter!
