Stagecoach was nominated for the 1939 Academy Award in the category of Best Picture of the Year. It is the story of a trip by stagecoach in the early days of the west in Arizona, an epic journey in those days shortly after the civil war. It is a story of those who drove and those who rode that stagecoach. But mostly it is a story of a bad man on the trails and a girl who thought she was too bad to marry him.
