When Squire Skimp learned that Lum and Abner had announced the grand opening for their new picture show for Saturday night he immediately started advertising that his show, Skimp's Hippodrome would open Friday night. Now Lum and Abner have gone one better by announcing a preview, an advance showing of their picture on Friday afternoon.
