Today's story is on the unusual side. One of the strange events of history happened down in South America way back in the 15th century, and few people know anything about it. Men of Portugal had established a few forts along the Amazon river, and were making slaves of the natives, taking their gold and craftsmanship to sell. Then one day, many Portuguese soldiers and citizens were massacred, and the natives just went back into the woods, leaving the old forts to become overgrown with weeds and forgotten.
