In the secluded Vermont countryside is an old, established sanitorium, Green Manors, noted for its treatment of mental disorders. The head of the the asylum has just been replaced by the renowned Dr. Anthony Edwards, and romance blossoms between him and another of the staff of psychiatrists, Dr. Constance Petersen.
