I was reminded of this story a week or so ago when I picked up the morning paper, and read that a small town was advertising for a doctor. The advert read that they were willing to finance him, and as many partners as they could attract in setting up a clinic. In outlying areas, medical men are always in demand. Much more so in the last century - which is how the newly married Doctor Henry Fleming and his bride Susanna came to Huntingdon House, some 100 years ago via the new railroad which had finally linked the East with the West.
