Katie was all right when she was sober but when she was drunk she was a bit of a nuisance flirting towards Billy Daunt. She wanted her and Billy to get married and move to St Louis and had saved quite a bit of money. During the night Kate is shot dead and Billy has disappeared making him Matt Dillon’s main suspect for the murder.
