I isn't very often that a member of the force works out of uniform but it was necessary the time the major sent Sergeant Preston down to Skagway. Skagway's an American territory and it was Preston's mission to get a line on the criminals who were coming in to the town. For a while Preston and his dog King were actually members of Soapy Smith's gang until they found out who they were and then they were fighting for their lives.
