It's three am in the morning and the racket has been going on in the apartment next door to David and Emma's since after the 11 o'clock news. Some of the other neighbors are concerned for Cynthia who lives there with Major Wright. David explains that he and his wife Emma moved in to the block because they didn't want to be bothered by other peoples business so insists they all go back to their apartments and forget about Cynthia and Major Wright. However the next day when they help Cynthia move a six-foot flower box on to her patio they are probably becoming inadvertently involved in something sinister.
