Sitting Pretty is a delightful comedy which was a hit for 20th Century Fox and begins in Hummingbird Hill a typical suburban community where everybody knows a little more than just a little about everybody else. For example the neighbors all know that Harry king’s house keeper simply up and quit today leaving that nice Mrs King with that big house, those three noisy children and that terrible dog to take care of all by herself. Yes the news went through the community like a flash, chiefly because of Clarence Appleton. Mr Appleton lives on the corner and has very little to do put grow iris and mind other peoples business…
