Producer-director Jerry Devine was given access to FBI files by J Edgar Hoover, and the resulting dramatizations of FBI cases were narrated by Frank Lovejoy (1945), Dean Carlton (1946-1947) and William Woodson (1948-1953).

Against a background of a rising tidal wave of post war crime, with 5000 major crimes a day being recorded, this story concerns a wounded Veteran and his wife, and uninvited guests at the Chesapeake Bay lighthouse they’ve borrowed for their second honeymoon.
