Deep in the heart of Belgian Congo is the native village of Bohua. During the day it is like most other villages, the men hunt for meat the women cook and sew and the children laugh and play. But at night Bohua becomes a place of fear. Men lie sleepless upon their mats, women quake in terror and children cry out in their sleep. All of them wait for the dread coming of the Simba Hudari.
