It began commonly enough Chris and Pat Webfield and Larry Reardon had dropped in to an art dealers shop in the avenue and there was an auction going on. Pat persuaded her husband to purchase a silver flask but was outbid by Henry Stebbings, a collector who then invited them to his home for dinner and to view his collection. Henry had been after the flask for sometime and knew the whole history of it and the fact that it had a been made by a sorcerer who bestowed this magic upon it, “for goodness it would return good and for evil it would bring death”.
