Our grandparents were delighted by the writings of man named Peter Finlay Dunn, who called himself Mr Dooley. Mr Dooley was quite a phrase maker, and he had one for every occasion. For example, he described a fanatic as a man who does what he knows the lord would do, if only the lord had the facts in a case. The remark that is relevant to our story is about justice. "Yes!" Mr Dooley said... "Justice is blind, and she's also deaf and dumb and has a wooden leg!"
