On March 12th, 1885 ill health and political difficulties caused the young Teddy Roosevelt to leave the east and journey to Medora in the Dakota Badlands where he hoped to find quiet and rest as a rancher. But instead of the peace he sought he finds himself dangerously involved with the lawless men who control the Badlands.
