Steve Kilburn Providential Life and Casualty Dollar phoned and wanted Johnny to attend a wedding. Martha Mayfield Merryman was the owner of a consolidated tyre and rubber company in New York amongst other companies. Dollar remembered her from 1957 when he cleared up a false report of her death that she’d rigged up herself to make a killing in the stock market. She’s 74 years old now and her son Edgar was getting married and she insisted that Johnny Dollar be present at the wedding. But why and why did she want Steve to call him with the request?
