One invariably associates mysterious with lonely old houses, strange, small inbred towns, peculiar characters, and I have to admit, this story follows that pattern. The man who told it to me is one expert, Xavier Yardley Zenith (With the initials XYZ, you can imagine the comments this poor guy has gone through life with...)
