Wild Bill Hickok is a juvenile Western Adventure in which the hero is a U S Marshall who travels with his comic sidekick Jingles. The stagecoach road to Flat Rock winds through country that’s wild and uncivilized. But at the moment all is peaceful only the rattle of the stage as it moves along the road, the creak of leather as its team of horses pull against their harness the crack of the whip and an occasional shout from the driver. The passengers inside are half dozing looking forward to the end of their journey in the town of Flat Rock. Suddenly, as the stage rounds a curve four masked riders appear. Meanwhile unobserved a pair of strangers to Flat Rock rein up at the crest of the hill.
