A weary, foam-flecked horse, kept at a hard gallop by an equally weary rider, raised dust under the faint starlight glow that spread across the Texas panhandle. Apparently alone in the wide stretch of prairie, the man rode toward a distant speck of light - a small camp fire. The campfire cast red flickers on the silvery skin of a great white horse, and near him was a paint. Crouched beside the fire, nuzzled occasionally by the horses, were the Lone Ranger and Tonto.
