Philip Sterling runs safaris to order and brash American Gunther Evans wants to hunt big game, He wants elephants and is willing to go to the dangerous Ungoran Gora for them. His wife Felicia is not as keen to go but her brutish husband accuses her of being a coward like her father. Felicia doesn't like killing animals for the sake of it but despite his bullying nature she loves her husband and sees beyond his brave facade. Felicia cannot shoot an animal to save her own life but when her husband's life is in danger she proves she is no coward.
