Today, Dr Edward Howard Griggs discusses Rudyard Kipling. After his death in 1936, and the publication of his autobiography, it awakened fresh interest in his life as one of the outstanding literary figures of our time. He was a writer of tales portraying both the English and the native life of India, of verses that reveal the British 'Tommy Atkins', and leading interpreter of the spirit of British Imperialism.
