Tonight's show is a tribute to the outstanding composer, Rudolf Friml. His best-known works are Rose-Marie and The Vagabond King, both of which enjoyed success on Broadway and in London and were adapted for film. To begin the program, Roy Shield and his orchestra play the first of those best loved compositions, Rose-Marie.
