Today's Cavalcade brings the story of the romance of President Grover Cleveland and Frances Clara Folsom, and their married life in the White House. It all began when Frances was under the impression that their regular visitor, Grover Cleveland, wanted to marry her mother - not her!

The first Democrat elected after the Civil War in 1885, our 22nd and 24th President Grover Cleveland was the only President to leave the White House and return for a second term four years later (1885-1889 and 1893-1897).
