Luigi receives a card inviting him and Mrs. Basco to the Association of Antique Dealers of America’s dance but of course he doesn’t have a wife. Pasquale is still trying to persuade Luigi that he should marry his daughter Rosa and Luigi agrees that if she can lose some weight before the dance he will consider taking her. However the dance is in two weeks!
