Rollie Andrews is an archaeologist a profession that rewards its followers more frequently with honored name than with great wealth. Yet he chose for riches and for evil. But soon in bitterness he will curse fate although he has gained what he desired. At this moment he possesses a fortune past his dreams of avarice. Jewels and riches, their promise of ease and luxury stills the protest of his conscience. This story takes us back to a moment of decision, an instance when Rollie decided the possession of such wealth was of itself an end to justify whatever means were necessary, even murder.
