Screen Director's Playhouse presents an exciting story of adventure and intrigue with Dick Powell reprising his 1948 screen role. Rogue's Regiment deals with the apprehension of one of the worlds most despicable killers, not a fictional character but one of true life. The Nazi whom we shall call Martin Bruner, the butcher of the cal. Who this character really is is left to your imagination. WWII is now over and the Nuremberg trials have taken place but one war criminal had escaped trial. The only top ranking officer not found was Martin Bruner. Major Whit Corbett is assigned to track him down and it leads to him to joining the French Foreign Legion and traveling to Saigon in Indo-China.
