There once was a poet, who sang about the pitter patter of raindrops falling on the roof. This poet had obviously never lived in such as house as the one currently occupied by Chester A. Riley. If he had, he'd have kept his big mouth shut! As we look in on the Riley's now, we find them listening to the pitter patter of the raindrops, dripping into assorted pots, pans and pails, placed at strategic points in the living room! Today, the landlord is coming to collect the rent, and Riley can't wait to prove that the roof is leaking so that the landlord must get it fixed right away. But the landlord has own little surprise for the Riley family. He's raising the rent from $60 to $75 per month!
